Musical Demonstration to Vals:
Variations on the Cruzada for intermediate dancers. We explore different ways of achieving and playing with the Cross.
In this class, we show a figure that begins by going to the close side of the embrace and then used two dynamic pivots with back ochos to return to the line of dance. We demonstrate the step in both open and close embrace.
Musical Demonstration:
Giros (turns) are circular movements where one dancer goes around the other dancer or they both go around a common axis.
A Soltada (release) is when the couple temporarily releases their embrace. Generally this is done when executing and Giro.
